3. Who manufactures your products?

Our products are made by licensed contract manufacturers. We publish their names, addresses and FSSAI licence numbers on our Manufacturing Details page so you can verify them on the FSSAI FoSCoS portal.

4. Are your products lab tested?

Yes. Batches are tested for quality and purity before they are sold.

Monk Fruit + Allulose Sweetener

5. What is monk fruit?

Monk fruit (Siraitia grosvenorii, also called luo han guo) is a small melon whose sweetness comes from compounds called mogrosides. Monk fruit extract is many times sweeter than sugar, so only a small amount is needed.

6. What is allulose?

Allulose is a rare sugar found in small amounts in foods such as figs and raisins. It tastes and behaves much like sugar but provides very few calories. In our blend it gives body and texture so the sweetener measures like sugar.

7. What are the ingredients in your monk fruit sweetener?

Two ingredients: allulose and monk fruit juice powder. There is no erythritol, no maltodextrin and no artificial sweetener such as aspartame, sucralose or saccharin. The full ingredient list is printed on the pack.

8. Why don't you use erythritol?

Most monk fruit sweeteners are bulked with erythritol, which gives a cooling, menthol-like aftertaste. We use allulose instead, which tastes closer to sugar and browns when baked.

9. How do I replace sugar with it?

Use it 1:1 — one spoon of Saline Food sweetener for one spoon of sugar — in chai, coffee, desserts and everyday cooking.

10. Can I bake with it?

Yes. Allulose browns and caramelises in the oven like sugar. It browns faster, so lower the oven temperature by about 10–15°C and check your bake early.

11. What is the difference between the box and the jar?

The blend is identical. The box is a pantry refill pack; the jar is a resealable wide-mouth container for daily use on the counter.

12. Is it keto-friendly?

Monk fruit and allulose add sweetness with very few calories, which is why they are widely used in keto and low-carb cooking. Check the nutrition panel on the pack against your own dietary goals. If you manage diabetes or another medical condition, consult your doctor about your overall diet.

Liquid Drops

13. How many drops replace a teaspoon of sugar?

2–3 drops of Monk Fruit Drops or Stevia Drops replace about one teaspoon of sugar. Start with fewer drops and adjust to taste.

14. What is the difference between Monk Fruit Drops and Stevia Drops?

Monk Fruit Drops get their sweetness from monk fruit mogrosides and have a rounder, more sugar-like taste. Stevia Drops get their sweetness from steviol glycosides from the stevia leaf. Both are zero-calorie liquid sweeteners for drinks; choose by taste preference.

15. Can I use the drops in hot and cold drinks?

Yes. They dissolve instantly in hot chai and coffee and in cold drinks such as nimbu pani, cold coffee and smoothies.

16. How long does a 15 ml bottle last?

A 15 ml bottle sweetens roughly 100 or more cups, depending on how many drops you use.

Sea Buckthorn & Baking Soda

17. What is Sea Buckthorn Pulp Extract?

A 500 ml concentrate made from the berries of the sea buckthorn plant (Hippophae rhamnoides), which grows in the high-altitude Himalayan regions. It is cold-processed whole-fruit pulp with no added sugar. It tastes naturally tart and citrus-like.

18. How do I use Sea Buckthorn Pulp?

Dilute 15–30 ml in a glass of water, or blend into smoothies and juices. A few drops of Monk Fruit Drops balance the tartness without adding sugar. Serving guidance is printed on the pack.

19. Is your baking soda food grade?

Yes. It is food-grade sodium bicarbonate, meant for cooking and baking — cakes, biscuits, dhokla, idli batter — unlike technical or cleaning-grade bicarbonate.

20. What is the difference between baking soda and baking powder?

Baking soda is pure sodium bicarbonate and needs an acid (curd, lemon, buttermilk) to activate. Baking powder already contains an acid. Recipes are written for one or the other; they are not 1:1 interchangeable. See baking soda vs baking powder.

Storage

21. How should I store your products?

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, close the pack tightly after use and use a clean, dry spoon. Storage instructions and best-before dates are printed on each pack.
