How the calculator works

It adds the sugar you put in tea and coffee, other drinks and cooking, and takes a level teaspoon as 5 g, the serving size on our pack. Calories use the standard 4 kcal per gram of sugar. A month is counted as 30 days and a year as 365 days. For drops, a 15 ml bottle is estimated at about 300 drops, so your actual number of bottles may differ a little.

These are estimates of how much you would use, not dietary advice. Sugar already inside packaged food and drinks is not counted.

Step-by-step tips are in how to sweeten chai and coffee without sugar. To compare your options, read monk fruit vs stevia vs allulose, or browse all natural sweeteners.
