Manufacturing Details

Saline does not own a factory. Our products are made for us by licensed contract manufacturers, and we publish exactly who they are, where they operate and under which FSSAI licence number. Most brands in this category do not.

We publish it because a licence number you can verify yourself is worth more than the words "lab tested" on a label. Everything below can be checked independently, without taking our word for it.

Manufacturer for Sweetener Products

TRIVIRA GLOBAL ENTERPRISE
11, Mahakheda (Himatpur), Ajmatpur,
Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh-212661

FSSAI Licence No.: 12725998000440

Trivira manufactures our sweetener range — the monk fruit and allulose blend in both the 400 g box pack and the 400 g kitchen jar, our monk fruit liquid drops and our stevia drops.

Manufacturer for Sea Buckthorn Pulp Concentrate

SWADHINTA HERBALS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED
C-246, First Floor, Aravali Vihar By Pass
Road, Murlipura, Jaipur,
Rajasthan-302039

FSSAI Licence No.: 12223999000388

Swadhinta Herbals manufactures our sea buckthorn pulp extract, which is cold-processed rather than heat-treated, so the pulp is concentrated without cooking off the nutrients that make it worth drinking.

How to verify these licences yourself

Every FSSAI licence in India is a matter of public record. You do not have to trust a number printed on a website — you can look it up directly.

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India runs a public business search on its FoSCoS portal at foscos.fssai.gov.in. Enter either licence number above and it will return the registered business, its address and the status of the licence.

Two details worth knowing while you are there. An FSSAI licence number is always 14 digits — if you are shown one with a different length anywhere, on any brand's packaging or website, it is wrong. And a licence belongs to a specific business at a specific address, which is why both are published here rather than just the number.

Why contract manufacturing, and what it means for you

Building a food factory and building a good sweetener are different problems. We chose to work with manufacturers who already hold the licences, the equipment and the process experience for their specific category, rather than becoming a mediocre factory operator ourselves.

The trade-off is that we do not control the building — so we control the specification instead. Our monk fruit blend is two ingredients, monk fruit extract and allulose, with no erythritol, no maltodextrin and no artificial sweeteners. That is a formulation decision, and it is the reason our sweetener costs more than the erythritol-bulked products it sits next to on the shelf.
